Day by Day Itinerary
Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
Travel through Central Kenya's agricultural landscapes to the Aberdares. Arrive at a forest or tree-style lodge and spend the afternoon watching wildlife from viewing decks.
Aberdares to Lake Baringo
Travel through the highlands and down into the Rift Valley to Lake Baringo — a peaceful freshwater lake known for birdlife, islands and dramatic scenery.
Lake Baringo to Lake Bogoria
Continue to Lake Bogoria — a shallow alkaline lake beneath dramatic escarpments, famous for flamingos, hot springs and striking landscapes.
Lake Bogoria to Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart for Lake Nakuru. Known for rhino conservation, birdlife, acacia woodland, lake views and wildlife including lions and leopard.
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
A longer travel day, paced with comfort stops. Arrive for a late afternoon game drive in the Mara.
Masai Mara
Full day with morning and afternoon game drives or a longer drive with picnic lunch.
Masai Mara
Second full day in the Mara for more relaxed exploration and better chance of memorable sightings.
Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
Depart the Mara and travel to Lake Naivasha. Arrive, rest and enjoy an afternoon boat ride.
Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
