Come Travel Kenya was founded in 2019 by a team of people with a shared conviction that Kenya deserved better representation as a destination. Their roots in Kenya tourism go deeper still: together, they also founded Kendirita Tours and Travels, which has been operational since 2009.

A decade of ground-level Kenya tourism experience — handling travellers, building supplier relationships, understanding what works and what doesn't — informed everything CTK was built to be. Not a startup finding its feet, but a second chapter by people who already knew the terrain.

They saw a gap: a Kenya travel market full of potential but short on companies willing to go beyond the standard package, blend MICE professionalism with safari soul, serve both the international visitor and the Kenyan resident, and take genuine responsibility for the ground experience from start to finish.

CTK was built to fill that gap. Rooted in Nairobi, connected across Kenya, and committed to every type of traveller — from a delegate flying in for a conference to a Nairobi family looking for a meaningful weekend escape.

Then came 2020. Within months of launch, the world stopped travelling. Rather than fold, the team held together, deepened their Kenya knowledge, strengthened their supplier relationships, and prepared for the day travel would return. When it did, CTK was ready.
